Making a little list of shows I'm either watching, finished recently, or want to watch! I forget these things most of the time so having a little list to refer back to might be nice.

Finished Recently

Doom Patrol - Finished this a couple months ago and it is still living in my head rent-free. I particularly loved Rita, all the forced family-ing, Rita/Laura potential, and the Negative Spirit stuff.

Arcane - JUST FINISHED IT. SO many good female characters and so much femslash potential. This, along with a couple other shows like Xena, make me realize how easily I connect with male characters when the female characters around them are actually written like people. In shows where there are only one or two women, it makes me feel like this show isn't For Me so I seek refuge in the girlies and feel more walled off from the guys... whereas I love almost everyone in Arcane.
I have some mixed feelings about the final season but understanding there were production restraints makes me glad we got what we did at all, and there's always fanfic. I am hoping to rewatch soon and maybe I'll write out some thoughts about it.

Currently Watching Kinda

Person of Interest - I left off in season 5 about a year ago. I had some bad life things happen that it hard for me to keep watching knowing how depressing things get, but I'm hoping to pick it back up soon. I really loved it a lot, especially the seasons where more female characters started coming in. Root being a godly super computer's specialist little human is so!!! So fun. Apparently I'm missing out on a revolutionary femslash sex, too.

Pantheon - Forgot this one initially! Loved the sci-fi concepts about uploaded consciousness and all the other unhinged ethics violations going on. I need to watch season 2.

Revolutionary Girl Utena
- This is a result of me trying to get back into my anime roots. I liked it, but it is a bit slow. And that is honestly fine, but when I'm watching something while also feeling guilt about not being productive, I need it to feel more fast-paced and immersive so I don't remember my procrastination sins, lol. Anyway, no idea what's going on or how anything in it works, but my god those bitches gay.

Scavengers Reign - SO GOOD! It's like Earth 2 (one of my faaaaave sci-fi shows about crashing on an alien planet) but with the budget to get insane with the creature design and planetary worldbuilding. I keep forgetting to watch more since it is so visual and I like to clean while watching TV sometimes? So I have to really be in the mood for it, but OUGH I'm so glad we've gotten something so creative and beautifully done.

Snowpiercer - The longest sighhhhhhhhhh. Season 1 was so goddamn good! Post-apocalyptic train microcosm led by dictator Jennifer Connally! What's not to love! But it's been dropping in quality, unfortunately. Season 4 dropped in a very funny fashion where some random country got it first and I meant to watch it either through that leak or weekly, but just... have not had it in me to watch. I will probably put this off for a while, but still keep it in my back pocket so I can understand wtf my friends are saying.

The Orville - I'm somewhere in season 2. I loooooooove all the girls I've met so far so much. Just being more sporadic with my watches because I like the show TOO much so it takes away my focus from productivity lol. How the fuck did Seth make good sci-fi... well, good most of the time. So much of the worldbuilding is just "we thought we could make a joke out of this" but a lot of the plots are getting really thought-provoking.

The Secret Saturdays - Just rewatching! One of my favorite shows ever, been into it since I was 9. Hit a roadblock because I want to make 1 gifset per episode and I've gotten lazy with it, lol, but hoping to pick it back up soon. I love my cryptozoology family and their themes about what really makes someone a monster so much.

X-Men 97 - TAS holds a special place in my heart so getting a continuation has been very exciting! Rogue, Jean, and Storm are all such foundational blorbo types for me and I adore the team so much.
I was ping ponging back and forth rewatching TAS and watching new episodes of 97 when they were dropping, until kinda just getting annoyed and putting everything on pause because of Rogneto discourse. I'm not even a HUGE Rogneto girlie, but I love age gaps and I do really like the ship! However, anti-shippers taking up so much of the Tumblr and Twitter tags made it really discouraging to keep up with. Even just sticking to the Rogneto tags and blocking antis hasn't given me much reprieve since, understandably, a lot of shippers put discourse responses there too, so... it's just been inescapable.
I am still not up to speed with it and instead have been rewatching the films and Wolverine & the X-men. I'll get back to the TAS timeline soon and hopefully once I do this issue will have died down a tad. (Unlikely, considering a certain professional comic book writer spent a few days bashing Rogneto on Twitter recently and stirring the discourse up again.)

Waiting for More Seasons

Wheel of Time - Soooooo many magic milfs I AM CLAWING AT THE WALLS waiting for more. Not enough to read the books, lol, but I am just rotating Lanfear and Moiraine in my head SO MUCH. Same with all the other girls tbh.

Yellowjackets - Sooooooo fun getting a show letting girls go off the fucking rails into teen cannibalism and growing up into unethical murder milfs. I think my fave stuff is Jackie/Shauna, Misty, and the mysteries.
Season 2 was... a little messy and not what I expected at times. The fandom reactions were worse, lol. I do like keeping up with the subreddit and tags typically because there are so many mysteries driving it and I want to hear theories! But I do need to learn my lesson and stick to trusted mutuals and the subreddit in moderation. The Tumblr and Twitter drama is not worth my time.

Ginny & Georgia
- Not a show I expected to fall into! It's technically focused on high school, but also focused on a very morally questionable mom and her tumultuous relationship with said high schooler daughter. There is a lot in it I don't care about, but I am very excited to see where it goes from here! Abby's storyline is also intriguing to me. (Sorta related, her actress was in a movie called Level 16 that was pretty good!)

Blue Eye Samurai - I admittedly started watching this because the Netflix summary made it seem like it revolved specifically around Mizu and Akemi adventuring together, when... that very much did not happen. I thought I could make it into something lesbian and the potential is still there, but it wasn't what I thought. Still really good though! I love Mizu and all the internal issues she deals with and how that ties into the people around her. The art is gorgeous, some of the stuff that happens is fittingly unhinged, and I'm excited to see where season 2 takes it.

Fallout - ELLA PURNELL YOU'VE DONE IT AGAINNNN. I never made it very far into Fallout games but I do love the whole setting. I predictably like Ghoulcy quite a bit, and even more I love the implied lesbian stuff between Lucy's mom and Moldaver. This has been another difficult fandom for me akin to Rogneto because of the tags being warzones due to anti-Ghoulcy people, but I'm just trying to block and keep distance and maybe check out the games in the meantime.

Hacks - Another one I added in after posting this lol, but it's nice for me to have a list to reference to check up on when things are coming back. ANYWAY THIS SHOW IS A MASTERPIECE. I am obsessed with Ava and Deb's dynamic and the humor was SO fun. Top tier show, no notes.

Honorable Mentions - I don't know if we're getting more seasons but I want them :( Masters of the Universe: Revolution and Skull Island. MOTU:Revolution just got an art book release so I'm guessing it is done after just 5 episodes this season. Skull Island... I'm not sure about, but it at least makes me want to look into more of the Monsterverse media if SI is dead in its tracks). I guess we might be getting additional Arcane shows too in the future?
OH and Class of 07 was really neat! It was like, Australian Yellowjackets premise but with significantly less ritual cannibalism lol... but they did try. Not as hard-hitting, but I enjoyed it much more than The Wilds and I'm going to be super sad if it doesn't come back.

Want to Watch

Silo - All my Snowpiercer friends seem to like it for similar reasons to Snowpiercer! Presumably post-apocalyptic isolated refuges and milfs. I know I'll really like it, just need to set aside the time for it.

Dark Matter - I heard a lot about this as it was ongoing, like good for ragtag group of spaceship dwellers on missions and forced family-ing. Always a good foundation and there's a lot I remember the sci-fi lesbians on my dash freaking out about in 2015. It does make me want to rewatch Farscape.

Warehouse 13 - I have been following along Bering/Wells for a while from the sidelines and really want to jump in. I've been trying to watch shows with more girls in them, or at least girls I know I'll be obsessed with, so this seems like a natural show to try out after all this time. I think it's in the same universe as Eureka, which is another one I've been eyeing because of the actresses. A lot of people also cross it over with Sanctuary, which means I'd be able to understand more fics too.

Sueños de Libertad - I know nothing about this except it would be good Spanish practice and some femslash vidders I like are making stuff for Marta and Fina all the time and again, I need more shows about girlsr

Agatha All Along - Forgot to mention this initially! I have not kept up with the MCU since like, 2013 but Wandavision looked interesting in passing. AAA looks a liiiiittle more closely aligned with my interests. I wanted to wait to see how the Agatha/Rio situation played out first and it seems like I'll really like it!

I'm forgetting quite a bit, might come back and add more later! I think honestly I've just mentally dropped a lot of things I was intending to watch before realizing at this point I need to stop wasting my time on shows where the writers don't view women as people. Same has happened with pulling back from cartoon fandoms because of how many antis are in them :/

Anyway, if anyone's got recs for shows that have milfs/female characters either as the focus or in similar ratio to male characters please leave ideas below, bonus points if sci-fi.

Found this post while I was looking for WOT posts, let me tell you, you and I both are waiting for the magic ladies to be back on our screen! I'm getting more and more excited for s3 as days go by! And I too, cannot wait to see where Yellowjackets season 3 goes. Hopefully, we'll get one show and then the other one so we never run short of things to watch! I haven't been around the Yellowjackets fandom at all so I have no idea what is the drama you're referring to 😆
As for Silo, just started the second season today so I can't tell yet, but s1 was definitely worth the watch!

Agatha All Along is well worth watching and easily watchable even if you only know the vaguest amount about what happens in Wandavision. Basically every ship in it is femslash. It's beautiful.
